I’ve worked with some exceptional politicians (Tessa Jowell, Ed Miliband and Stella Creasy) as well as on policy development and academic
research with some inspiring individuals and institutions, including Professor Andrew
Gamble in Cambridge University and the Institute for Public Policy Research (IPPR).
Along the way I’ve worked in magazine journalism (for the New Statesman, the Spectator and The Week) and for some of the UK’s leading think-tanks – as Director of Communications at the New Economics
Foundation and Head of Campaigns at the Electoral Reform
Society.
I have appeared regularly on national
broadcast media including BBC News, Channel 4 News, Sky News and the BBC World Service.
From 2014 to 2018 I was Labour councillor in the London Borough of Hackney.
I studied Classics at Oxford, and Political Sociology at the London School of Economics.
